Haynes Crossing &
       Haynes Preserve Subdivisions

In Gwinnett County, just outside the Grayson city limits, off Highway 84 is located Haynes Crossing and Haynes Preserve subdivisions. They were named after Big Haynes Creek which runs between the two subdivisions. Big Haynes Creek and Little Haynes Creek come together just south of Black Shoals Reservoir which is part of the Haynes Watershed Project which actually runs southward all the way to Macon. This project was completed in 2002 to naturally filter off the storm water run off and is a model for the rest of the state.
The subdivision was built by Centex Homes and was completed in 2003 and turned over to the
Haynes Homeowners Association. This is a 269 home swim - tennis community sharing the pool between the two subdivisions.
